Time To Refresh

There is a vicious amount of pressure at every stage of life to succeed. It's very disturbing that statistics and personal preference/expectation seems to be the driving force of measuring success. When the pressure becomes to much and the expectations unrealistic, one may go to the some extreme actions to find relief. Can you imagine what kids and youth face every day? From parents, teachers, coaches, friends, and themselves. One thought we all need to pay close attention to. Cultivate an environment that values honest work and accepts the ups and downs and refuses to quit discovering who they really are. By focusing on the person you're becoming instead of the results you're producing through one event of life, you will relieve yourself of a lot of pressure or stress that's self inflicted. Unpack some of those questions you have, keep asking till something extraordinary happens. Seek the dream within and listen to the words it expresses. Let this attitude take over; Open your eyes and witness the dedicated work ethic and the all in commitment that's leading you towards your dreams and goals. Enjoy believing in your dreams, believing in yourself, and believing in each step and event it takes to make your dreams a reality. Take time to refresh, allow the active passion within to abundantly overflow and wash away the crud that our busy work pukes up.

Living for the performance - stresses

Living for the process - stimulates

What are you living for?

Quiet Time

One of the most powerful choices we have as a person, and one of the most powerful steps towards a stable and consistent life; the choice of quiet time each day. By scheduling your daily quiet time and sticking to it, it becomes even more powerful. Another benefit from daily quiet time is the accountability to excersise self-control to assure nothing disrupts your scheduled quiet time. The challenge to build up to a daily quiet time of 20-30 minutes will make you more productive, less moody, less defensive, more positive, more understanding, less anexiety, less selfish, and more alive. The choice not to have daily quiet time is a choice to overload your mind and life. It's like standing in the middle of Time Square on the busiest day of the year and time sticks, but you still have to go on with life and all the decisions it brings. Realize the need to schedule a daily quiet time, to sit quietly and unpack the busy clutter and just relax, close your eyes, and hear yourself breath. Commit and within several weeks you'll be a different person.

"All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone." Pascal

Thought Provoking

At the center of change is a challenge of growth for the future. Trying to avoid or prevent change puts a heavy load of thoughts in your mind. What if you simplified the growth process? What if you found your purpose, that which you love doing and you're really good at it when you're doing it? What if you kept fueling and feeding that purpose and building up the vessel which possesses that purpose as it builds up others because of its purpose? When you create an assurance of balance and direction between what is and what could be, you develop ownership in the lives of the people you're leading. That's a huge change from the norm, and from what's going on in most lives today. Provoke your thoughts, they may lead you to great change, steady growth, and an amazing freedom to fulfill your purpose. You're the only you, don't leave yourself to die because you're chasing someone else's change and purpose.

"A" Grade Life

Trying to avoid the risk of being your best and settling for the obvious good giving, gives you and average to above average life at best. But is this what you really want, you were created for an excellent life. The world constantly offers you an above average life if you'll avoid the exam for the excellent life. Life seems difficult at times, the preparation and work to make life worth while is often challenging and requires the learning of life lessons. Many will feel a relief when offered the "B" grade life, because they can avoid the study time and life lessons it takes for the "A" grade life. Don't settle for less than you're capable of, have confidence in what you've learned so you can proceed with life's exam and be more than average to above average. Those who believe in what they've learned and what they're doing, count life lessons of failure and success, the exam they've prepared for. These are the people you surround yourself with, those who want to take the exam for an excellent life, an "A" grade not "B" grade. Studies show that by the age of two, 50 percent of what we ever believe about ourselves has been formed; by age six, 60 percent, and at eight years, 80 percent. The child like trust and optimism of life, says theres is nothing you cant do or learn. Surround yourself with positive people - they know the importance of confidence and will help you keep focused on what you can do instead of what you can't. The people you surround yourself with is who you become.

Unpack the "B" grade mind set, never stop believing in yourself. Crave the exam, don't cringe over it.
